My artwork focuses on my experience as a woman, both in society and within my own skin.  I have looked at women through the lens of body, social norms, generational patterns and the rights or limitations of women.

 I use the metaphor and imagery of trees, horizons and land to discuss the intimate experiences of being a woman. Through my relationship with the earth, I investigate subjects such as vision and purpose, connection and human growth.

Because of my deep desire to create a better world, and my many years of teaching children, I often use collaborative and performative art to express my subject. By interacting with an installation or experiencing a performance, I hope to invite the audience in the conversation.
